Project Information Manager

TYLI is a member of Dar Group, a global, privately-owned professional services group, and its industry-leading family of Global Infrastructure companies.As part of the design and production team, the Project Information Manager champions the planning, adoption, and management of digital technology for design and production-from computer-aided design (CAD), building-information modeling (BIM, civil information modeling (CIM) and project document management, to process improvements and research & development. The Project Information Manager works closely with Project Managers, design and production staff, information technology staff, and other Delivery, Digital, or Project Information Managers across a 5,000-person, global organization.Responsibilities* Co-develop with other Delivery Managers, Project Information Managers, and other digital technology leaders strategy and roadmap for design and production platforms, procedures, and shared support.* Build relationships, obtain input, and socialize strategy with operating company executives, corporate functions, and IT teams across a diverse organization during a highly dynamic period of growth.* Advise and help implement organization-wide CAD/BIM standards and practices.* Communicate CAD/BIM strategy and change to business leaders, stakeholders, and end users.* Maintain close working relationships with Project Managers and Information Technology.* Leverage and guide the use of collaboration systems such as BIM 360 and ProjectWise.* Advise generally on design and production staffing and organizational design; recruit and manage talent.* Unify, evolve, and drive adoption of disparate systems and practices.* Train, mentor, and establishing mentoring approaches for various types and levels of staff.* On each project:* Work with project management for overall project scope, schedule, staffing, and work locations.* Identify and adhere to contractual requirements as they pertain to design, production, and information sharing technology.* Determine production team organization and responsibilities of each work location.* Identify and manage technical support for the project (skills and manpower assessment, training, and other resource requirements).* Evaluate software, hardware, and collaboration systems needs.* Establish automation and information exchange procedures with the various parties and locations involved on the project.* Set up project data structure* Provide quality control assessments.* Report regularly to the local project management team.Qualifications* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Design, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).* 10+ years supporting and managing computer-aided / model-based design technology.* Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to present and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional matrix environment.* Able to communicate clearly and calmly in stressful situations using technical or non-technical language.* Able to lead, influence, and give as well as receive feedback professionally.* Skilled at diplomatically and effectively articulating ideas to both technical and non-technical people.* Able to work across time zones and cultures.* Deep experience with Autodesk and solutions such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and BIM 360.* Deep experience with Bentley solutions such as MicroStation, Open Roads Designer, and ProjectWise.* Experience in design/engineering professional services firms.* Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.* Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.* High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.* Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.T.Y.
