Radiology Administrative Analyst

ResponsibilitiesUnder the general direction of the Assistant Chief Financial Officer, the incumbent will provide financial analysis, reporting, andadministrative support to Compensation Plan and Basic Science Plan accounts for the department.Maintain accounting system and statements for academic enrichment, section, and research accounts.

Work closely with Research Director to prepare financial summaries of PI’s projects.

Prepare fund applications to various Department Sales and Service programs.

Manage departmental accounts receivable, preparing invoices and tracking payment processing.

Responsible for generating ad hoc reports as requested by faculty and staff in relation to financial data.

In addition, he/she will provide assistance in executing and implementing process improvement initiatives.

Create and oversee individual funds as necessary.

Prepare faculty Profit and Loss statements on a biannual basis.
– Procurement portal maintenance
– creating new units, updating FAUs/project codes, addingnew members
– Procurement portal financial and operational approvals
– Reviewing PANs & processing NPEARs as necessary
– TOFs/Recharges/NPEARs
– Updating MLK staff coverage log with timesheets

– UCPath funding entriesQualificationsRequired:BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, or equivalent**Preferred:**Healthcare or comparable experience and MBASkills and Talents:Demonstratedknowledge in financial analysis, planning, preparation or administration.Demonstratedability to perform detailed work timely with a high degree of accuracy.Demonstratedverbal and written communication skills to effectively convey and obtaininformation.Criticalthinking and problem solving skills.Abilityto work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlinesAbilityto audit expenditures and assure that they conform to policies andguidelines.Demonstratedability to independently organize/prioritize work and track progress ofmultiple projects.Skillin utilizing a PC to prepare works using Excel, Outlook, and MicrosoftWord.Skillin maintaining computer based data files.Workingknowledge of University unit and systems such as QDB, PAC, TOF, EDB,Bruinbuy, Recharge, and other on-line systems preferred.Skillin advising faculty and staff with regard to proper procedures and formsas they relate to supplies and services.Excellentinterpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective workingrelationships with faculty and staff.Abilityto prioritize and exercise a high degree of independent judgment.Abilityto interact effectively and maintain composure when confronted bydifficult situations.UCLA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
