VP of Sales and Business Development

Our client is a leading staffing, recruitment and talent acquisition platform that delivers top candidates to enterprises by leveraging the largest community of recruiters and search firms along with its award-winning sourcing technology platform. They are presently seeking a senior-level Business Development and Sales professional to join their team to work remotely/virtually within the US to work in the capacity of  VP of Business Development and Sales. The chosen candidate will be responsible for spearheading sales growth for the company. 

Responsibilities

* Cultivate, develop, manage and lead a sales team while also closing deals for multiple accounts by themselves.

* Prospect large enterprise companies (Fortune 1000), manage sales opportunities, present solutions, provide product demonstration and close sales

* Achieve sales targets and growth objectives for the company

* Ensure that all sales direct reports meet and/or exceed all KPI’s for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes

* Drive leads through creative means and/or work with the marketing team to create campaigns and webinars and other demand generation tactics

* Act as a “Brand Ambassador” for the organization and represent the company at industry events and trade shows, etc.

* Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, nationally.

* Develop and maintain sales metrics and analytics

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline is required. MBA is a plus but not required.

5 – 7 years of hands-on sales leadership experience within the Recruiting and Staffing industry is required.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a true sales hunter approach

Proven track record in selling recruiting solutions or services to large enterprise customers

Strong established relationships among key influencers within the Recruiting and Staffing Industry

Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and handle shifting priorities

Strong MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, etc.) skills are required.

Technically savvy with a proficiency of using tools such as Zoom, Dynamics CRM, etc. is strongly preferred.

Strong communications skills (verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation) are required.
