SEC Reporting/Accounting Manager

nnAdvanced stage start-up located in West Los Angeles is looking for an SEC
– Accounting Manager.

While working with the Controller, the SEC
– Accounting Manager will be responsible for drafting, preparing, and filing SEC reports (i.e., 10Q & 10k reports, drafting footnotes, preparing proxy statements, conducting technical research, etc.), conducting SOX compliance, and implementing process to prepare for an IPO.

Additional duties for the SEC
– Accounting Manager include analyzing and preparing consolidated financial statements, analyzing investment balance sheets, managing reporting schedules, assisting with month / quarter / year-end close processes, cash flow and general ledger management, as well as account analysis.

The SEC
– Accounting Manager will also analyze stock-based compensation and perform ad hoc reporting.

nn nn n nn Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.

At least five years of accounting experience.

CPA is required.

Big 4 is extremely preferred.

SEC reporting, IPO, and SOX compliance experience is REQUIRED.
