Chief Technology Officer

Balance short
– and long-term goals and business priorities Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of developers to deliver best-in-class solutions to our customers and users Partner closely with Product Management to deliver innovative and user-friendly applications Regularly explore new tools and technologies to improve development efficiency, quality, and align with business requirements Define delivery roadmaps, oversee technical architecture, and explain architectural tradeoffs to internal stakeholders and engineers Lead the organization in the acquisition and/or development of new systems, software technology & tools, ensuring effective upgrades with no compromise to service Ownership for software engineering team, resources, and budget Ensure all engineering practices adhere to regulatory standards and best practices for privacy and security Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual R&D reports to stakeholders nn Qualifications nn Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field required Prior experience as a senior engineering leader overseeing architecture and engineering for a leading SaaS technology platform is required 10 years of software development and leadership experience required Strong understanding of and ability to apply leading machine learning, artificial intelligence, and business intelligence applications to customer challenges Experience as the principal manager of a team of full-time developers working on sophisticated web and mobile applications Guide and mentor the team to achieve reliability, customer trust, and high development velocity The ability to analyze business and data requirements, relate them to product capabilities and support future product development Extensive experience with microservices architecture and managing a multi-product portfolio A bias for action; subscribe to an equal focus of technology and process with an effective blend of the two; understand how to balance business and technological requirements Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills A strong entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building new products Adherence to Company’s core values, which are: 1) Customer Obsessed, 2) Extreme Impact, 3) Endless Curiosity, and 4) Team Before Self
