Senior Backend Developer – REMOTE
Direct Hire Only – no C2C
Seeking a strong Backend Developer who loves working with Node/Express within both NoSQL and SQL technologies. Someone that wants to get more exposure to AWS services, Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters. You will be leading the development of business service solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend services to support business requirements
- Create and integrate API services for frontend consumption
- Develop an API versioning plan to implement and maintain backward compatibility
- Ensure API services are maintainable and debugged through proper automated tests and logging procedures.
- Lead and guide architectural standards & best practices
- Design complex and highly scalable backend services & infrastructure
Qualifications
- Several years of hands-on experience with Node/Loopback
- Experience with both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) data structures
- Experience with MongoDB and Postgres is beneficial
- Familiarity with AWS and EKS
- Solid experience in developing robust API services for high volume transactions
- Knowledge of Microservice architecture and service interaction patterns
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Dockers is ideal
- Bonus for experience with CI/CD pipelines and Test Automation
