Personal Assistant

nnWonderful opportunity for an excellent and experienced full-time on-staff PERSONAL ASSISTANT with long-term intent who views private service as a profession and not a “gig”.

The household is fully staffed and although it is not formal, it is run professionally and harmoniously.

Calm, smooth sailing is all-important to this client.

The PA will not be based at the residence so expect to work from your own home, in an off-site nearby location as well as in your car-running errands, personal shopping, etc.

Client is seeking someone who is stylish, aware of trends, resourceful, presents well, keeps abreast of the latest “hot” restaurants, stores, and cultural, entertainment and sports events that might be of interest to them.

The selected PA will have excellent taste and be able to source gifts and exquisitely wrap them with the “perfect” paper and ribbon.

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills are a must along with the innate ability to be highly anticipatory, always thinking three steps ahead and keep excellent notes whilst always keeping the principals fully informed.

The ideal candidate is trustworthy and discreet to a fault, upbeat and positive, calm and calming, well-traveled, sophisticated but not a snob, highly detail-oriented, has a no-job-too-big-or-too small mindset and respects employer/employee boundaries.

Principals entertain frequently so the PA should expect to help plan parties and on occasion work larger events.

Additional key responsibilities include maintaining Principal’s calendar, updating contact lists, handling and filing correspondence, making reservations, researching and booking private and commercial domestic and international travel, on-line shopping, handling petty cash and special projects as assigned.

A college degree is strongly preferred although not required.

Computer skill “must have” proficiencies include MS Office Suite (including Excel), Google Suite, Photoshop, Adobe, Dropbox and all social media platforms.

Slack and Asana proficiencies are a plus.

While this is by no means a “24/7” role, the PA should expect to be available via text in real time outside of “normal” business hours.

In addition to experienced Personal Assistants, talent relations professionals from PR firms or hotel concierges from luxury hotels are encouraged to apply.

Only local LA candidates who know LA like the back of their hand will be considered.

Compensation is $80-100K DOE & O/T with a generous benefits package.nn nnCandidates must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and have excellent, verifiable references.

For immediate consideration, please email your updated resume in Word (NOT PDF) and include reason for leaving each position.

Only those candidates whose resumes strongly align with our client’s specific requirements will be considered and contacted.nn
