nn nnWe are looking for a Software Engineering Manager who has experience with leading projects from start to finish.
You will be the technical stakeholder of our ECommerce and Web Projects, reporting to the Marketing Director.nn nnAs a Software Engineering Manager, you will be working on setting our digital strategy, and overseeing the team to execute against it.
Your duties include setting deadlines, managing workflows and be hands-on with the code and the engineering team.
This includes managing our offshore members, setting their expectations, and managing their performance.nn nnWe are building the future of online wine sales, and for that, we’ll need you to be hands-on with the code.
We use C# for our backend services, and a React-based Frontend; hosted on AWS.nn nn nn nn Responsibilities: nn nn
– Full-stack hands-on developmentnn nn
– Contribute to code-reviews and set quality standardsnn nn
– Design database and data-storage solutionsnn nn
– Work closely together with the Marketing Director on digital strategynn nn
– Explore and present technical solutions to achieve the businesses goalsnn nn
– Set clear expectations and manage performance of the Web Engineering Teamnn nn
– Support the daily operations for technical needsnn nn
– Track spend and budget technical solutionsnn nn n nn nn What we’re looking for: nn nn
– 3+ years of software engineering experience (C#/Java, React, JavaScript/Typescript, CSS)nn nn
– Experience with managing projects end-to-endnn nn
– 1+ years of experience managing a team of software engineersnn nn
– Experience using Gitnn nn
– Experience with SQL databases (MSSQL preferred!)nn nn
– Familiar with ecommerce web applicationsnn nn
– Experience using team productivity solutions (Asana, JIRA)nn nn n nn nn Extra grapes: nn nn
