Responsibilities Revolution Company, is now hiring for a Extrusion Operator position for its day shift in Vernon, CA.
This role will be responsible for the efficient set-up and operation of extrusion lines in order to safely produce high-quality film in accordance with the job safety analysis, production schedule, set-up instructions, operating procedures, and quality specifications.
The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who has strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
Understand and follow all job safety procedures/policies.
Safely and efficiently set-up and operate extrusion lines to produce a high-quality film.
Ensure all materials are readily available and being used in accordance with procedures.
Effectively and continuously monitor extruders and all equipment to produce quality film throughout the shift.
Ensure proper labeling of film.
Assist team members and maintenance personnel.
Complete daily production reporting.
Distinguish between a mechanical problem and an operator error, then perform troubleshooting and take corrective measures.
Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
Operate extrusion lines per operating procedures, quality procedures, and operator training to meet or exceed productivity requirements and minimize scrap.
Understand film specs per bag.
Qualifications Manufacturing experience required.
Experience in blowing film extrusion preferred.
Ability to follow all Health and Safety regulations.
Ability to complete basic math.
Skill with a computer and assigned software.
Ability to speak and write English and Spanish.
