Inventory Planner

A Day in the Life n n The Inventory Planner is responsible for the strategic planning of our Client”s products in the warehouse, ensuring efficient use of footprint and optimization of the pick path.

This position will be based in our LA facility, in Los Angeles, CA.n n All About Youn n The Perfect Fit:n Strong Office 365 skills.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across departments.

Highly motivated to dig in and create/improve processes.

Exceptional Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.

Must be capable of defining, analyzing and resolving complicated problems.n The Must Haves:n Must have a Bachelor”s degree in Supply Chain Management, Management, or Logistics and/or 3 years of experience in Aspire.

5+ years of warehouse experience.

Physical ability to carry out the duties, including using a computer, typing, sitting, standing and walking for extended periods throughout the work day.

Lift up to 50 lbs.n Things You Will be Doingn Working with our Clients to secure season item data ahead of their season for the slotting program.

Working with the Operations team to:n Plan the storage footprint for the Clients.

Determine item placement by product type.

Determine quantity of slots and ensure adequate supplies for racking.

Secures sufficient labor for set up and maintenance of the slotting program.

Maintains capacity levels of inventory.

Recommends Client moves for best utilization of space throughout the year.

Performing or leading condensing tasks to accommodate slotting.

Using Aspire to slot season”s item listing.

Monitoring slotting to ensure no honey combing and reallocates product.

Maintaining the Client Storage Allocation table in Aspire.

Maintaining Location Maintenance in Aspire.
