and Korea including a medical university, and CHAUM (a premier anti-aging life center).Professional RequirementsPosition Summary:Plan and conduct a variety of in-service orientation programs, educational programs and educational services for clinical personnel throughout Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center; coordinate educational programs for ICU, Telemetry, and DOU.

The following are essential job accountabilities:* Plan and conduct a variety of in-service orientation programs and educational programs for clinical personnel throughout Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center to meet competency assessment requirements in conformance with departmental objectives and accreditation standards.* Coordinate educational programs for an assigned service line; serve as internal consultant for specialized clinical instruction.* Assess educational needs of the learner and develop plans for learning experiences appropriate for meeting recognized needs; evaluate the effectiveness of instructional programs and make recommendations for program content revision.* Develop and/or assist in development of educational programs, presentations and/or staff education materials; plan and prepare curriculum content and course outlines in conformance with program objectives and accreditation standards; modify and update existing educational programs and staff education materials or recommend modifications as appropriate.* Act as a liaison with administration, departmental and academic representatives for the purpose of planning orientation, RN residency program, seminars, workshops, educational programs and related activities.* Participate in the recruitment and selection of personnel to attend educational programs including the RN residency program; evaluate students’ progress utilizing appropriate measures.* Assist in the care and maintenance of departmental equipment, supplies, work areas and facilities; requisition supplies and equipment as needed for instruction; select and organize teaching aides to include films, slides, charts and nursing supplies and equipment to demonstrate improved methods of patient care; maintain required departmental records, reports and statistics as appropriate.* Keep abreast of new developments in training techniques, methods and programs for possible application by HPMC Department of Education.* Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
