Architect / Engineer – Property Condition Assessments PM

in Irvine, CA seeks a qualified Project Manager (Property Inspection/Construction Monitoring) As a Project Manager (Architect or Engineer) at Property Solutions Inc., you will conduct Property Condition Assessments (PCA) regarding building forensic studies to identify and remedy physical deficiencies.

Furthermore, as Project Manager, you will conduct Construction Monitoring, where you will be exposed to a wide variety of properties or construction developments, including multi-family, mixed-use developments, commercial properties, office buildings, retail/shopping centers, hospitality, and warehouse/distribution buildings.

This is an ideal position for junior level Architect or Engineer, that wish to utilize their technical and forensic investigated skills of building systems/component system failure.

Also, you learn and understand the construction process on a monthly job site visits.

Requirements: Responsibilities
• Perform investigative research of various properties and buildings
• Compose Property Condition Assessment reports
• Conduct walk-through surveys of buildings to assess the condition of a building’s major systems: site work improvements, structural, facades, roofs, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and life safety systems
• Interview property owners, management personnel to obtain information concerning the property’s condition
• Provide photographs of representative systems, building conditions, and physical deficiencies
• Deliver outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to client’s requirements
• Perform Construction Monitoring, includes review of construction progress, scheduling, quality of workmanship, and monthly payment applications for lenders or investors Desired Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or Engineering, or equalivant to related field
• Minimum 3+ years in design, construction, or project management experience
• Passion for being detail-oriented, highly organized, and proficiency in time management
• Proficiency in computer programs in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• The ability to travel up to 40-60% of the time (some overnight travel) Benefits:
