Business Development Manager (Fabrication & Construction)

A very well-known full service steel fabricator and erector client of ours is seeking a strong Business Development Director in their territory with tremendous potential. Candidate should have minimum of 10+ years Directing Business in the Structural Steel Construction Industry or Similar Construction.

Business Development Director Required Background and Skills:

  • Experience working in the Steel Fabrication and Erection or Similar Construction Industry
  • Leadership and Management skills
  • Networking and Business Development experience
  • Must be in Southern California

Business Development Director Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage qualification, proposal and presentation activities for the department in all offices
  • Manage and mentor marketing staff
  • Develop and manage collateral materials development, public relations and advertising programs
  • Establish programs to accomplish marketing-related aspects of the corporate mission
  • Manage planning efforts for all conferences and special events
  • Support Principals and Business Development specialists efforts to initiate and develop contact with potential clients
