Job Description Position Overview Conduent is looking for a Project Manager to work as a Senior Delivery Management Analyst to successfully implement and deliver Public Safety projects worldwide for the Transportation line of business.
The project manager will coordinate and prioritize project tasks, manage timelines, maintain project plans, and communicates status to clients, project sponsors, and senior management.
This position will report to the Director of Implementation under Conduent’s Public Safety division and be responsible for managing client implementations, establishing schedules, coordinating internal cross-functional dependencies, and help the client and the internal team prepare for program launches. Successful candidates must have a strong sense of urgency and ownership to drive projects to completion and be successful in a collaborative environment.
Communication skills are critical as well as the ability to quantify and manage all aspects of the project, balancing both client and internal team objectives while adhering to established timelines and contract scope. Key Responsibilities & Duties + Plan and conduct project kickoff meetings. + Create project schedules using Microsoft Project software. + Define project deliverables based on project scope supplied by the Sales team and Solution Architect. + Track and manage project milestones and client reported issues. + Communicate status, issues, and risks to project stakeholders. + Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, meeting agendas, scope amendments, and key client communication archives in Microsoft Teams. + Be the primary point of contact for all client inquiries for projects under implementation. + Work closely with the Engineering and IT Services to resolve complex issues reported by both client and internal team. + Coordinate closely with the operations program manager during the implementation lifecycle to maintain excellent client relationships and communication. + Host recurring client conference calls to drive project execution; travel onsite to assigned client facilities when necessary.
+ Close-out completed projects. Qualifications + Must have excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
This position requires extensive interaction on the phone, web conferencing, and e-mail with our external clients, third-party vendors, and other Conduent employees. + Demonstrated experience interacting with client stakeholders at all management levels. + A minimum of 2 years experience in the public safety services or construction industry. + Experience interfacing with external clients, including written, telephonic, and face to face interactions and project level communications. + Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Management or equivalent work experience.
PMP certification is preferred. + Knowledge of MS Project, MS Teams, Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, and Smart sheet is required. + Excellent organizational and time management skills. + Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills. + Ability to lead a project team of technical and non-technical staff. + Ability to perform successfully in a high-pressure, fast-paced working environment. + Ability to work independently. + Careful attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
