Associate Creative Director, Growth (Copy Background), FRL Creative Team

We are currently seeking an Associate Creative Director/Writer to lead Growth Marketing creative on behalf of Facebook Reality Labs in partnership with agencies and product marketers, ensuring consistent brand content through all touch points. The successful candidate will continually push for innovation, never settling for the status quo. This person must have a strong background in Copywriting (agency or client side) and must be a highly strategic thinker with a proven track record for leading efforts to execute across multiple media formats.
  • Work with either internal teams or our agency partners to produce standout and strategically focused work supporting the goals of world-class creative and highly efficient, data driven assets
  • Concept and lead multiple creative efforts, either with in-house creative team or agency partners
  • Help develop and inform creative briefs that provide strategic insights, and data driven results to inspire creative concepts and ideas
  • Collaborate with an art director and other cross-functional team members working within FRL to concept and produce work across multiple media formats
  • Provide creative direction, guidance and oversight to internal and external creatives teams
  • Proactively look for creative opportunities that help solve business objectives
  • Oversee the strategy and creative direction of consumer facing marketing creative that strongly resonates with a range of global audiences while maintaining consistency for the brand
  • Steward creative executions that speak to our global customer audience in the channel appropriate way, balancing the fine line between resource constraints and customization
  • Partner with Growth Marketing, Media, Analytics and Program Management on developing scalable design frameworks with the goal to optimize creative performance
  • Oversee the creative vision for how our products show up across channels, including the Growth Marketing space
  • Partner with CDs and Design Directors to continuously inform and infuse work and asset creation with growth marketing principles
  • Communicate learnings from iterative testing to inform creative concepts that are anchored in KPIs and drive consideration and demand
  • Form relationships with experts in the FB family of apps, develop growth best practices for digital marketing channels across paid and owned media, affiliates and educate cross functional teams on these best practices
  • Become a trusted and valued partner across the marketing organization, including Growth Marketing, Program Management, Product Marketing, Analytics, and Sales
  • Communication skills, experience responding to briefs creatively, present ideas and concepts to stakeholders, collaborate and iterate based on feedback from cross-functional partners
  • Experience in a fast-paced, iterative and independent environment
  • Experience guiding agencies and production partners, but should be ready to roll up their sleeves to do the work too
  • Understanding of growth marketing principles, best practices, and the data that drives measurable results
  • Experience with decision-making based on data and business results
  • 6+ years relevant experience delivering creative work on projects, across a variety of touch points
  • Experience developing and managing consumer marketing programs in an growth marketing environment
  • Experience working with data & insights in a results oriented environment
  • Experience overseeing agencies
  • Demonstrated capability driving innovation in the growth marketing space
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners
