What You Will Do:

  • Intakes donations for Amity Foundation throughout the LA region.
  • Unloads and unpacks incoming donations and performs sorting, grading, and stocking of donations.
  • Sorting donations categories needed to fill the orders from internal campuses and outside organizations.
  • Assist with the organization of the warehouse, in collaboration with the Donation Director, to ensure the safe flow, sorting and storage of donations and related equipment.
  • Maintains updated donation request and fulfillment orders and dates in order to effectively coordinate the distribution of donated items to the various campuses. Coordinate the distribution of donated items to Amity campuses.
  • Pickup, delivery and proper shipping of all donations to Amity.
  • Coordinate meetings and/or conference calls as needed to maintain effective communication.
  • Produce weekly update reports Excel spreadsheet.
  • Regularly track Inventory of incoming donations and distribution form warehouse.
  • Perform any additional tasks and projects as deemed necessary for the smooth operation of the donations services
  • Utilize pallet jacks to maneuver toy inventories throughout the warehouse.
  • Maintains the donation warehouse in a clean, orderly & safe manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

  • Previous warehouse experience required.
  • Valid Class C Driver’s license.
  • Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment is a plus
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical functions
  • Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills with track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and interface with individuals at all levels, both inside and outside the organization.
  • Strong initiative. Self-driven and able to deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quickly.
  • Experience in community orientated organizations a plus.
