Role Description:

This is a Part-time or Full-time role for an energetic, passionate, and experienced Early Intervention Occupational Therapist at Baby Grows Pediatric Therapy P.C. Successful candidate with create and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes and enhance motor, sensory, feeding, and/or self-help skills.

·      Providing quality one-on-one child-centered intervention for children ages 0-3 years in their natural home environment or daycare. Children may have developmental delays, sensory processing difficulties, Autism, and/or feeding concerns.

·      Collaborate with families and caregivers; provide caregiver/parent education and training/coaching to support child’s development at home

·      Maintain accurate documentation of daily progress notes to be submitted monthly

·      Submit progress reports every six months for each client

·      May choose what cities to work in: Los Angeles, Alhambra, South Pasadena, San Gabriel, Temple City, Monterey Park, Rosemead, San Marino, Arcadia, Whittier, Pico Rivera, Montebello, La Mirada, La Habra Heights, and/or Santa Fe Springs

 

Qualifications:

·      Two years of OT experience with at least one year in Pediatrics and Early Intervention

·      Active Occupational Therapy license in California

·      Maintain CEU and licensure requirements

·      Strong background in working with children

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·      CPR/BLS Certification

·      Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field

·      Willing to drive from home to home; Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, valid CA Driver’s License

·      Ability to work independently an adapt to diverse family needs

·      Strong work ethic, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; team-oriented

 

Physical Requirements:

·      Therapy activities may require playing on the floor or settings where the furniture is child-sized

·      Careful attention to the safety of the client and surroundings is required

·      Sudden and quick movements may be required

·      Walking, occasional running, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting,

·      Reaching above the head, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds

·      Sustained physical activity may be required for up to 60 minutes

Compensation:

·      $75/treatment session

·      W-2 position
