Are you looking to advance your career in a role with meaningful work? As a Financial Advisor with a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise, you’ll help shape your clients’ financial futures for each stage of their lives. In this role you will provide client advisory service by managing, gathering and analyzing client data, preparing and presenting financial plans and other client deliverables, and working with clients to resolve issues.
This position is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
Client Care
Respond to client questions, transactions, and account changes either by phone, online or email
Set up and maintain client management system
Maintain effective communications with clients by phone call and/or emails, responding promptly.
Maintain files and records in accordance with the records retention policy
Product Solutions
Assess and recommend portfolio/robust product solutions that will fit the client’s risk tolerance, goals and time frame
Persuade clients to act upon suitable advice and recommendations
Execute appropriate trades to align with the proposed portfolio on behalf of the client
Monitor economy, markets, and world events to determine any required strategic rebalancing
Financial Planning and Advice
Gather and enter client data into Financial Planning software
Perform case analysis and develop recommendations
Create planning deliverables
Schedule and conduct financial planning and advice meetings with clients
Answer questions and provide readily available information to clients
Follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when serving clients and performing all work-related activities
Qualifications:
Must haves
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a financial advisory firm as a financial advisor, financial plan writer or financial planning specialist with a proven record of success.
Showcase a background in building strong relationships and delivering superior client service
Strong analytical and writing skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to adhere to rules and regulations required by advisors, Ameriprise Financial, and FINRA (Financial Industry Regulation Authority)
Series 7, Series 66, and State life, accident and health insurance licenses
College degree or equivalent a plus
