A/P Officer II

  • Perform extensive general ledger entries and transactions for invoice processing.
  • Supervise AP related works
  • Supervise Fixed Assets and prepaid accounts related work.
  • Assist Fixed Assets physical inventory work.
  • Responsible for reconciliation of AP related DDA and GL accounts.
  • Responsible for preparing and maintaining GL Certification of Reserve GL accounts
  • Responsible for preparing and maintaining Holding Company GL Certification and GL accounts.
  • Responsible for form DE 542 filing.
  • Comply with the Bank’s security program, including but not limited to:
    • Review and comply with the End-User Computing Agreement
    • Acquire good knowledge on functions and usage of computer systems as related to the assigned job functions.
    • Be current and knowledgeable in industry’s trend in safeguarding the Bank against confidential data leak, identity theft, fraudulent activities, and computer security threats.
    • Reports suspicious activities to manager, Chief Risk Officer or Information Security Officer.

Knowledge, Skills Abilities Required

  • Required: Minimum 5 years of experience or more in same field is required.
  • Required: intermediate level of financial accounting or general ledger knowledge is recommended.
  • Required: 2 years or more of college education/degree is preferred.
  • Required: Detail oriented and diligent work habit.
  • Required: Communication skills:

  1. Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
  2. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or customer complaints.
  3. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, employees, regulators, or board members.

  • Required: Reasoning Skills:

  1. Excellent analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
  2. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  3. Ability to prioritize tasks; good time-management, problem prevention, and problem-solving skills.
  4. Possess a work ethic that includes neatness, punctuality, and accuracy.

  • Required: Computer Skills:

  1. Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail.

  1. Ability to demonstrate a high level of ethical behavior and follow the Code of Conduct.
  2. Organization ability with strong supervisory skills.
  3. Ability to remain flexible in order to adapt to changes in the work environment.

The salary range for this full-time position is $26.45 Hourly – $31.25 Hourly + bonus + benefits

Salary ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location.
