The Chief Schools Officer must have a deep commitment to academic performance and the ability to lead with a focus on equity and data-driven decision-making.Requirements for the position include a Bachelor’s degree, with a Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field preferred. A valid CA Clear Administrative Credential is also required. The ideal candidate will have experience in educational leadership and a strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment. They must be able to effectively lead and support school principals, as well as demonstrate a commitment to educational excellence and equity.
