Job Description

Brink’s, Incorporated is the premier provider of secure cash management solutions, including transportation, ATM servicing, currency processing and other value added services to financial institutions, retailers and other commercial and government entities. The company has a proud history of providing growth and advancement opportunities for its employees. We have a challenging opportunity for a Director of Sales.

Job Summary:

The Director of Sales is responsible for the strategic direction of business development including, customer retention and growth, account management and development as well as management and development of the Regional Business Development Management team. This position is responsible for profitable growth and retention across all business lines and products by providing integrated solutions to customers, as well as managing, coaching and providing direction to the Business Development Management in the region. This position will plan and oversee the implementation, administration and achievement of sales objectives , account development and solutions goals, both short and long range, as defined by the overall U.S. strategy set by senior sales and business leaders .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that customer growth, retention and development activities are implemented, executed and captured in Salesforce.com
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other functional teams ( Customer Care, Operations, Product Marketing, Implementation ) to achieve account development and performance goals
  • Team with the Region Business Development Management Team to support new Line of Business and new logo account growth
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans and forecasts to achieve region objectives that support the Brink’s U.S. corporate objectives
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customer decision makers and key strategic partners at the highest level of their organizations
  • Recruit, train and coach a team of Business Development Management team to ensure a consistent approach and message in the field
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Previous Management experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years strategic sales experience
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience in a decentralized operating structure

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years sales management experience
  • 3 years experience managing regional accounts
  • Experience with the decision making process and workflow of financial institutions and commercial/retail markets
  • Banking or transportation industry sales/marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Sales, Marketing or Business

Professional Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong consultative, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Successful track record of presenting multiple, integrated product/service solutions at various mid- and high-executive level sales within large financial and commercial organizations
  • Successful experience with achieving sales plans at this level
  • Successful experience with recruiting, training and managing sales talent
