Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation
Location: Los Angeles or Orange County
Salary: $160,000 – $220,000
A well-established, client-focused law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join our litigation team in Los Angeles or Orange County. We specialize in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including commercial disputes, product liability, toxic tort, and personal injury defense. This is a great opportunity for a driven attorney to grow their career in a fast-paced environment with direct exposure to complex litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial through trial and appeals
- Handle complex civil litigation cases, including product liability, toxic tort, and commercial disputes
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and manage discovery
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice to clients
- Attend depositions, mediations, and assist in trial preparations
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in California
- 5-10+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in toxic tort, product liability, or personal injury defense
- Strong legal research, writing, and case management skills
- Experience in both state and federal courts is preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple case deadlines
