Our work depends on a Data Analyst Senior joining our team to develop customer dashboards, perform deep dive analytics, and deliver customer solutions. As a Data Analyst Senior, you will support customers within GDIT to fulfill multiple federal agency missions.
The TSS Data and Analytics team uses a variety of tools including Azure and Azure DevOps, AWS, SQL, ServiceNow, Power BI and Tableau. The Tableau dashboards provide program management and financial dashboards to customers allowing them to manage risk and provide the essential reporting to their government customers.
HOW A DATA ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Conduct market research and define industry best practices for decision-making
- Creating, refining, and delivering reports and dashboards for internal or external purposes
- Utilize Tableau, excel, SQL, Power BI and/or other business intelligence tools
- Provide data analytics and key insights
- Highlight and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance across different sections
- Manage a team of analysts to develop analytical solutions and standardize best practices across multiple programs.
- Collaborate with a team of developers, analysts, and engineers to determine feature requests, priorities, dashboards, and solutions.
- Writing user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, and retrospectives to improve Agile development processes.
- Performing Quality Assurance (QA) testing of new features to ensure that requirements are met, and the resulting user experience works as intended.
- Participating in and supporting user acceptance testing and the deployment of the solution to production.
- Preparing and conducting presentations and training materials.
- Creating and maintaining documentation.
- Collaborate with a team of developers, analysts, and engineers to deliver on-time Agile sprint releases.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: BA/BS (or equivalent years of experience)
Required Experience: 5+ years of experience
Security Clearance Level: Secret (must be able to obtain)
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong Excel background; familiarity with other Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience reporting on ITIL Processes – using tools such as Remedy, ServiceNow, BMC Helix, Salesforce. Familiarity with Incident, Request, Problem, Change
- Experience joining multiple data sets into a single output in a repeatable way
- Highly proficient with Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Ability to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading
- 2+ years of experience managing small to medium teams in support of a common goal
- Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities at any given time.
- Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present to business leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
- Experience developing dashboards using Tableau or Power Bi to create professional content
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tool(s)
- Experience with Python
Location: Hybrid – LA (Bossier City/Shreveport Preferred)

The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 – $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
