Chef/Kitchen Manager

Unit Description:

Sodexo Live!’s Airport Lounge Segment is hiring a Chef/Kitchen Manager at the Air New Zealand Lounge in Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

 

An oasis away from the airport hustle, our airport lounges have become synonymous for comfort and elegance at major airports throughout the world.  Grow your culinary career!  We are seeking candidates with prior culinary supervisory skills and hands-on food production experience to join our growing team.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
  • ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
  • have the ability and willingness to develop, schedule and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement – High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience – 1 year
