*JOB DESCRIPTION*

Title of Position: Clinical Supervisor

Location: Normandie Village

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt

Union/ Non-Union: Non-Union

Supervisor: Program Director

*SUMMARY OF POSITION*

Is an integral part of the Normandie Village management team. The Clinical Supervisor takes the lead on the day-to-day clinical operation of the facility, including supervision.

*ESSENTIALS DUTIES*

* Supervise assigned staff.
* Assists in clinical programming development.
* Assists with planning and implementing clinical training for staff.
* Assists in clinical training and supervising new therapists
* Maintains detailed knowledge of program paperwork and billing procedures.
* Participates in educational seminars for the department.
* Assists with the development, maintenance and evaluation of policies and procedures.
* Writes reports and presentations as required.
* Attends inter-agency meetings for networking and information sharing
* Keeps program personnel informed of professional and community trends, issues, concerns and requests.
* Participates in staff and treatment team meetings and contributes pertinent information.
* Assist other programs as necessary.
* Works independently.
* Provides on call coverage for emergency consultation and intervention outside of regular work hours
* Responds appropriately to difficult emergency situations.
* Intervenes in crisis situations as needed.
* Monitors accuracy of documentation and ensures staff meet all required deadlines and content requirements for payout
* Hires, trains, evaluates, and develops corrective action plans for staff
* Performs other duties as assigned

*EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS*

* Experience providing individual and group therapy in mental health field.
* Functional experience with mental health system.
* Treatment and diagnostic skills utilizing the DSM V.
* Experience with severe and persistent mental illness substance abuse, and evaluating dangerous behaviors

*EDUCATION & CERTIFICATES*

* Masters or Doctoral Degree from an accredited school of social work or psychology
* LCSW, LMFT or licensed Psychologist– Must by eligible to complete appropriate clinical supervision training in order to supervise registered MFT or MSW interns or other disciplines as designated.

*REQUIREMENTS*

* Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Community Care Licensing (CCL) background clearance.
* Valid California Driver’s license.
* TB clearance.
* Driving record acceptable for coverage by Gateways insurance carrier.
* Fire and Safety Training*.
* First Aid Training Certification*.
* CPR Certification*.
* Crisis Prevention Institute Training (CPI)**

* Note: If indicated certifications/licenses are lacking, they must be obtained within 180 days of hire.

**Training needs to be completed within 30 days from the date of hire on a designated date provided by on-boarding. Staff need to be certified at the commensurate level for their role to perform their job duties

(staff will be taken off the schedule if certification is not achieved).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,200.00 – $95,000.00 per year
