Our client in the Aerospace Industry is seeking a Senior Buyer to join their team. As a Senior Buyer, you will be part of the Procurement department. The ideal candidate will have Buying, Purchasing and Administration experience which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Chatsworth, Ca
Pay Range: $35-$36hr
What’s the Job?
In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:
- Create bid to buy orders for products for clients not under contractual obligations.
- Research, select and purchase quality products and materials.
- Develop accurate monitoring of systems, metrics, and purchase orders.
- Review and approve other buyers purchase orders and request for quotes (RFQ)
- Review, analyze, process and expedite MRP (Material Requisition Planning) on a daily basis.
What’s Needed?
- Excel skills- Candidate needs to be able to do V-lookups and Complex formulas. Macro’s is not needed or required.
- Experience dealing with manufacturers and other suppliers.
- Knowledge and skills demonstrated for contract negotiations
- Experience with physical inventory control.
- Ability to do analysis and forecasting for exceptionally long lead times compared to customer usage.
- Minimum of 5 years of senior procurement or purchasing experience
- Minimum 5 years Aerospace fastener buying experience.
- 3 years of proposal development preferred.
