About You: To excel in the Online AP Biology Tutor position, it’s advantageous if you possess the following qualities: An AP Biology Expert: You have extensive experience tutoring the AP Biology exam and possess in-depth knowledge of both the AP content and testing strategies. Your mastery of the test allows you to confidently address any questions from students or parents. An Engaging and Effective Educator: Education is your passion, and you thrive on providing personalized, one-on-one online tutoring experiences for your students and their families. Establishing consistent instructional and practice exam schedules to ensure steady progress leading up to test dates. Communicating regularly with parents and colleagues to update on student progress and program status. Cultivating genuine relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Collaborating with team members to ensure maximum student support and program efficiency. Requirements: Minimum of 6 months of formal Biology tutoring experience (1 year or more preferred). Deep knowledge of AP content and testing strategies. Familiarity with online teaching tools. Bachelor’s degree from a top university (Biology degree preferred). Compensation and Benefits: $35 per hour for instructional time, with opportunities for performance-based raises. $11 per hour or local minimum wage (whichever is higher) for administrative time. No noncompete clause, allowing flexibility to work with other tutoring companies. Remote work with flexible hours. Professional development and growth opportunities.
