As a *Registered Nurse II in the Operating Room, *under general supervision, conducts patient assessments, participates in the development of the plan of care, implements and evaluates care according to patient specific age and/or developmental needs. Collaborates with other health care team members in the delivery of care. Must be able to scrub & circulate and will support the Cardiac Team.

*Minimum Registered Nurse II in the Operating Room:*
* 2 years’ experience circulating CVOR in multiple surgical specialties in an acute hospital setting.
* Cardiac and OR experience is required. Pediatric preferred.
* Previous experience working in a level 1 trauma center preferred but not required.
* Scrub and circulation experience is required.
* Ability to assess effectiveness of patient care; maintain a calm demeanor and assist in crises and emergencies; prioritize tasks for complex patient care; communicate tactfully, professionally, and effectively, verbally and in writing.
*Education/Licensure/Certification for a Registered Nurse II in the Operating Room:*
* Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. ADN required.
* Current CA RN License
* American Heart Association CPR and PALS required upon hire.
