Position Summary

As an integral part of our client’s litigation team, you will be responsible for preparing litigation cases from their inception through post-trial phases. Your role will involve extensive research and analysis, ensuring comprehensive support at every stage of the litigation process.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Litigation Case Support: Contribute to all phases of litigation cases, from onset through post-trial.
  • Calendaring Management: Accurate scheduling of legal events and deadlines.
  • Document Management: Oversee the organization, maintenance, and efficient utilization of case-related documents.
  • Discovery Process Assistance: Preparation for deposition, propounding and responding to written discovery, and preparing for expert discovery.
  • Document Review: Prepare documentation regarding criteria changes, and track and report on review progress and results.
  • Analytical Tasks: Prepare witness interview memoranda, summarizing documents and transcripts, and utilizing substantive coding tools.
  • Law and Motion Practice: Assemble motion papers and exhibits, coordinating filings of pleadings and briefs.
  • Cite Checking and Proofreading: Oversee both simple and complex cite checking and proofreading of legal documents.
  • Trial Preparation: Create trial notebooks, organize exhibits, coordinate witness schedules, maintain trial calendars, and facilitate effective communication with opposing counsel and courtroom staff.

Requirements for this Amazing Position

To thrive in this exceptional role, you must possess a minimum of 10+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in a major law firm. A BA and Paralegal Certificate are required, along with proficiency in litigation support platforms such as Relativity.
