Senior Accountant

We are a growing publicly traded company looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. This person will support all corporate accounting functions including financial reporting, month-end analysis, and closing duties. Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile general ledger accounts to supporting schedules
  • Analyze financial statements and identify trends
  • Provide financial analysis on financial results, operating budgets and revenue data
  • Support financial reporting including preparing SEC filings
  • Prepare variance analysis and explanations
  • Assist with month-end close duties and the annual audit
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA license or CPA in progress is a plus
  • 3+ years of accounting or audit experience, preferably in public accounting
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Compensation: Target hiring salary of $100,000 – $115,000 annually plus additional compensation and large bonus. Salary is dependent on qualifications of candidate.
