A prominent flooring contractor is searching for a qualified Project Manager to join their team. This company excels in flooring projects with a solid background in the industry. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, budgets, and timelines.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and material procurement.
- Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and provide accurate cost estimates.
- Oversee the installation of epoxy and topical coatings on concrete surfaces, ensuring the work meets manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and in-house teams to ensure the availability of necessary resources.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to enhance customer satisfaction and promote future business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience as a project manager in the epoxy and topical concrete coatings industry.
- Strong knowledge of epoxy and topical coating materials and application techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Project management software proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
