Summary:
We are seeking a personable scientist to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated, detail-oriented, and an open-minded individual. This position requires the ability to multi-task, learn quickly and work with a large variety of patients and colleagues. Excellent patient interaction is a requirement for all roles at CFP.
CFP is seeking a Full-Time Andrologist to join our team. This position will be located at our Los Angels Clinic. Must be available to work Monday through Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM with rotating weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process blood samples for analysis at CFP sites
- Receive and process semen samples for testing
- Receive and process semen samples for IUI treatment
- Cryopreservation of semen samples
- Report results in a timely manner
- Receive and ship sperm samples
- Follow lab protocols closely
- Maintain safe work environment
- Work well as part of the team
- Communicate clearly with staff and patients
- Encouraged to share process improvement ideas with Lead
- Assist other team members during surgery and clinic if required
- Perform any duties necessary to the efficient and quality operation of the department and organization as a whole.
Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in biological science
- Will consider a junior currently studying in a biological science program at an accredited university.
- Excellent Patient Interaction
- Proficiency in eIVF, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other computer programs a plus
