Qualified applicants should:
– Have 2+ years of waitstaff experience in casual upscale dining (fine dining a plus)
– Possess a knowledge of distilled spirits, with a focus on American whiskey, as well as classic cocktails and their ingredients.
– Have a general understanding of wine, wine regions, grape varietals, and their flavor profiles.
– Have knowledge of basic cooking techniques and California ingredients.
– Be detail oriented, self-motivated, and work well in a team environment.
– Have the availbility to work Saturdays and Sundays is a must.
– Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
– Familiarity restaurant POS systems (Toast familiarity is a plus)
– Bartending experience a plus.
