Job Summary: As the Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling all day-to-day ocean, air, and over-the-road freight operations for Ruggable. You will work closely with our freight providers, as well as Supply Planning and Manufacturing site teams, to see every purchase order through to delivery. By way of exceptional organization and prompt communication, you will ensure timely delivery of all cargo to our plants and warehousing partners, in addition to strong service for all internal stakeholders. What You’ll Do: Manage end-to-end shipment booking processes with our ocean and air freight providers, including tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery Handle internal requests for one-off freight booking or urgent air shipments Make day-to-day decisions regarding service level, accessorial avoidance, destination selection, etc. Collaborate with our Procurement, Inventory Control, and Manufacturing plant teams regarding high-priority cargo, unexpected schedule changes, etc. Monitor all of our shipment and inventory transfer data for completeness and accuracy, troubleshooting and escalating as needed Execute intra-network transfers via truck or intermodal Communicate daily with our freight and drayage providers Review invoices from our logistics providers for accuracy, and escalate / resolve discrepancies as needed What You’ll Need to Have: Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in logistics and/or ocean freight Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment with a high sense of urgency Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong organization and attention to detail Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets Local to LA for a hybrid schedule Preferred: Experience working for a steamship line, freight forwarder, drayage provider, or other logistics operation Experience working in NetSuite or other comparable ERP systems Expertise in customs clearance Fluent in Chinese Compensation: $55,000 – $70,000 per year base salary An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
