the web team, which provides end-to-end digital solutions and hosting for global websites enabling Amgen brands to engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and our patients. The team provides an innovative web technology platform hosted in the cloud and ensures compliances and security features across our websites. You will

be

part

of

Amgen’s

Global Commercial Operations Digital Technology Innovation (GCO DTI) organization.

We are seeking a

dedicated

Software Engineer to join our

dynamic

web team and Spread-head the development of

ground

breaking

web solutions. As a software engineer with strong experience in web and its underlying infrastructures. Your

ability

to

communicate

effectively and collaborate with the

team

members

across various groups will be critical in driving our platform’s continued success. If you

Oversee

and lead the web infrastructure and hosting, ensuring stability,

scalability,

and

efficient

performance.Provide technical leadership and

mentorship

to web development teams,

encouraging

collaboration and driving successful delivery of projects.Serve as a point of contact for technical

escalations

and issue

resolution.Champion and

enforce

high standards of quality in all aspects of web development, including code quality, user experience, accessibility and security.Collaborate

closely

with

the web release management team to ensure smooth and

timely

deployment of web solutions.Possess a

solid

understanding

of

AWS infrastructure

and

security

principals

to provide

expert

guidance,

and support to the team.Possess advanced knowledge of web design patterns and frameworks.Thorough

understanding of client side development (CSS, JavaScript and HTML).Manage

workload in a

fast-paced

engineering team.Agile experience is highly desired.Be a technical decision maker and

own

the

outcomes..NET and / or Sitecore are a plus.Win

Doctorate degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AWS infrastructure setup up

and

security

principals.Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell and PythonUnderstanding of Sitecore CMS (or other Enterprise web CMS) and its architecture is a plusSuperb

communication

skills

and

ability

to

communicate

clearly and effectively both in writing and verbally.Practical understanding of Agile / SAFe and Familiarity with Jira for releases notificationsProficiency

with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD toolsSolid

understanding

of

web

technologies such as .NET, JavaScript Node. jsExperience with writing high-quality, maintainable, reusable codeSolid

understanding

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $113,402-149,536 USD
