Talent Services Development Sr. Manager – Business Process and Operations
The Talent Services Development Delivery team partners and collaborates with many parts of the Talent organization to enable the delivery of learning programs.
Work you’ll do
Act as a Talent Services Development Senior Manager focused on leading initiatives to create and improve delivery process, tools and technology. Collaborate with Learning & Development, Talent Services Delivery (US & USI), Compliance, Meeting and Event Services and other areas of Talent to design and implement process enhancements to achieve business goals. Build, manage, and leverage relationships with Talent and business colleagues.
Conceptualize and drive the execution of programs/initiatives targeted to build a Process Excellence culture. Manage the subject matter experts for various process areas and manage teams that execute on business-specific and cross-business Learning Delivery priorities.
Provide project management support and oversight for Talent Services Delivery projects, leading, coordinating, and managing, with a focus on meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors and stakeholders
Builds relationships across a diverse network to influence business decisions and drive impact
Analyze POV’s and current approaches and implement improvements. Responsible for progress of Delivery projects and status reporting
Drive initiatives to design and improve Delivery processes, tools and technology in support of learning
Collaborate with Business Team Lead Managers and broader Delivery team to share best practices and implement consistent processes, as applicable, across all businesses
Partner with Learning & Development and Talent Services Development Leads for process improvement opportunities, monitor metrics, scorecards and adherence to SLAs
Ensure standardized communication across Talent Services Delivery including driving change initiatives for ongoing improvement
Support cost efficiencies and quality improvement activities through the use of new and/or enhanced technologies, automation and best practices
Drive operational excellence through the reporting of various metrics (e.g., volume, efficiencies, etc.)
Participate in firm budgeting and headcount forecasting activities
Serve as a liaison with Talent Services USI to support the overall Development strategy
Balances the strategic needs cross business and geographies with broader Talent Services processes and delivery objectives
Manage and oversee subject matter experts and liaisons with other Talent and business teams
Oversee, manage and coach multiple teams that execute on business-specific and cross-business Learning Delivery priorities
Creates an environment where the team embraces, responds to and drives change with a borderless mindset
The team
The mission of Talent Services improves efficiencies and operational excellence, delivers strategic and transactional services, institutionalizes operations efficiencies and quality and enhances ability to scale and reduce cost structure. Talent Services focuses on delivery of both strategic and transactional services, either directly for the businesses or in support of the Business Advisors and Learning & Development.
Qualifications
Required:
Current CL5 or CL6 employees eligible
Bachelor’s Degree; Minimum 8 years of related experience
Exceptional project and resource management skills
Proven communications and change management capabilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Knowledge of data analysis methods, which includes the ability to analyze and interpret data
Strong strategic-thinking skills with an ability to collaborate with and influence team members on best practices
Consultative approach toward clients with demonstrated capability to manage client expectations
Strong leadership skills
Proficient Microsoft Office skills
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $230,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
