Compliance Manager

Job Title: Compliance Manager

Job Summary: The Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards. They will work closely with other team members to develop and implement company policies and procedures, conduct internal audits and investigations, and provide training and support to company employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the VP of Legal Affairs to develop and deploy the company’s compliance program.

  • Conduct regular compliance audits to identify potential areas of risk and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

  • Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices.

  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of compliance-related issues, including incidents of non-compliance or unethical behavior.

  • Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related topics, including anti-corruption, anti-bribery, and data privacy.

  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure the company stays ahead of compliance issues.

  • Collaborate with other departments, including legal, human resources, and finance, to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Help prepare and submit regulatory filings, reports, and disclosures as required by law.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field; Juris Doctor preferred but not required.

  • 3-5 years of experience in compliance or a related field.

  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, including anti-corruption laws, data privacy laws, and industry standards.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to assess and manage risk.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
