Executive Sous Chef

Blair’s Restaurant seeking for a Sous Chef position running his lead in two of our
locations (Silver Lake-Eagle Rock)

Must have experience in

o Provide, develop, train, and maintain a professional work force.
o Ensure all services to members are conducted in a highly professional and efficient manner.
o Ensure a safe working environment and attitude on the part of all employees in areas of responsibility.
o Develop and implement annual budget for kitchen to include, food, labor, and other costs.
o Contribute to creating a culture and work environment based on respect; providing opportunities for staff to learn, grow, and develop their abilities
o Portion control for all items with a daily inventory for both location
o Establish and maintain a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment.
o Provide training and professional development opportunities for all kitchen staff.
o Ensure that representatives from the kitchen attend service lineups and meetings.
o Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times.
o Perform other duties as directed.
o Driving and delivery food/beverage between two location
o California Food Safety Manager certification 

Minimum Qualifications:

o Must able to work day and night shift

o Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, and written skills

o Competent computer skills including email, Word, Excel and other software

o Five or more years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook, and expediter
o At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity

o California driver licenses
