Baltaire – Guest Services Associate
Full Time- 35-40 hours per week
Reports To: Guest Services Manager, Director of Events, General Manager

What We Expect:
The Guest Services Associate reports to our Guest Services Manager to oversee all matters of communication between the restaurant, managers, and guests. This includes the direction of OpenTable, holidays, incident solutions, and event liaison coordination. The Guest Services department is also responsible for the upkeep and restocking of the menus, and for the packaging and distribution of steak sauce. Essential and otherimportant responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to the below;
Responsibilities:
- Work with spreadsheets to handle lost items, lost credit cards, messages for managers, complaints and large party requests.
- Act as a lunch maître d’ and assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests.
- Make calls for the following day’s reservations, noting any requests and confirming what we can offer guests.
- Being knowledgeable of all policies and procedures relevant to guests, and if no answer is available within the set parameters, taking down guest information to call them back.
- Field event and regular voicemails and complete event inquiries with guests over the phone
- Be astutely aware of all aspects of OpenTable: how to make reservations, reservation waitlists, etc.
- Create, send and print credit card forms and on occasion brief the floor manager who will be handling the transaction.
- Answer department telephone using correct greeting and telephone etiquette.
- Run deposits for contracts through Toast and send receipts.
- Correctly check and sort the Events Book (and board) to reflect Tripleseat.
- Check and refill business cards, menus and anticipate when we should up our pars with upcoming larger guest counts.
- Calendar management in coordination with management and associated parties i.e.- valet, florists, cleaning crew

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative position within a customer-faced environment.
- Must have OpenTable experience.
- High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate, college degree.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and advanced knowledge of

- Must be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.

- Strong communication skills and ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to occasionally stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoopor kneel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

- $22 per hour
- Banquet Support Pay of $30 per hour for Buyouts
- Monday – Friday, 11am – 7pm Schedule
