General Claims Adjuster 1- Remote

The Claims Adjuster position is the key service contact for customers filing claims on the various vehicle service contracts administered by the company. This position is also responsible for providing complete and sound claim approvals, according to various written contracts, and being able to clearly explain contract terms.

Our Auto Claims Adjuster position earns a competitive pay rate starting at $21.00*                        

This role is a remote position.

 

What will you do in this role?

You will…

  • Review contract coverage terms and conditions.
  • Adjudicate auto warranty claims
  • Document files to include all key activities regarding estimates, repairs and evaluation summary reflecting and revisions.
  • Provide accurate, courteous, and timely information to all external and internal customers concerning claim status and other claim inquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What will you need to bring to the table to be successful in this role?

  • Six months related experience in automotive claims and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret contracts, claim procedure guides and coverage pages with a technical/analytical focus working within established systems, standards and procedures.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers making decisions based on policies and procedures with the support of management.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
