Environmental Health and Safety Director

Overview: Responsible for the management of all Safety Division operations to provide a safe and secure environment for all associates and guests within the company complex in accordance with federal, state, local and company requirements. Responsibilities: Develop and implement guest and employee safety standards to comply with federal, state, and local codes. • Develop, establish, and implement associate safety training programs. • Recommend and implement regular safety and health inspections of all areas that affect the safety of guests and associates. • Develop, maintain, and implement company and departmental safety policies and procedures. • Establish and implement regular safety meetings concerning guest and associate safety. • Investigate and respond to safety complaints and inquiries. • Provide safety reviews and recommendations during engineering, construction, or modification of company projects. Salary range – 140,000-150,000 plus 20% bonus. Standard benefits package including medical, dental, and vision, 401K, vacation, sick, and holiday pay. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree Work Experience 6-8Years • Responsible for directing other employees’ daily work activities and undertook the following employment actions: hiring, termination, corrective action, and performance reviews. • Handles broad-based complex information across departments with company-wide impact. Presents to diverse audiences. Coaches and mentors. • Broad and comprehensive knowledge of theories, concepts, and practices with the ability to use them in complex, difficult, and unprecedented situations. • Regular contact with others both inside and outside the company. Minimum Age At Least 21 Years of Age License, Certifications. Or Other: Driver’s License Amusement Park Safety Inspector-preferred
