Summary of Essential Duties:
- Perform pre-op and post-op calls with patients related to Pain Management procedures
- Reconciliation of medications in collaboration with on-site Pharmacists
- Provides direct and indirect care services for each clinical area of the department including perioperative, clinic, and triage.
- Adheres to radiographic protective equipment while working intraoperatively.
- Performs administration of moderate sedation and medicinal infusions while adhering to medication safety protocols.
- Provide assistance during in-office procedures
- Educate patients by phone and in-person regarding procedures, medications, side effects and other aspects of their treatment
Assoc. Degree/College Diploma
1 year – For external hires, acute care experience in their specialty for new hires.
Promotion to Clinical Nurse II is automatic after completion of one (1) year of clinical experience and a satisfactory performance appraisal at a Clinical Nurse I level.
California State RN License
BCLS Certification
Other Competencies, as required by your specialty unit (ex. ACLS, PALS, fetal heart monitoring)
