Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will be responsible for providing quality patient care and promoting wellness. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and document in medical records
- Provide wound care and dressing changes
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Educate patients and their families on health and wellness topics
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
- Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient condition
- Ensure compliance with medical and legal regulations, including HIPAA
Requirements:
- Active RN license in California
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Basic computer skills
