Minimum Requirements: B.S. Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering required 7 years of overall experience with at least 3 years of supervision experience Must have a background in chemicals manufacturing, ideally compounding Big pluses would be: lean six-sigma certification Job Description: This person will work in a 125-person manufacturing plant; one side of the plant does catalyst recycling and the other half of the plant produces specialty chemicals. Unit operations that are used at the plant include reaction and distillation and it is a wet chemistry process. The main thrust of this person’s responsibilities will be overseeing production and production personnel as well as interacting with customers to assess the demand for the products that this company produces. This person will report to the plant manager of the facility. Relocation assistance is available and will be in the form of a lump sum payment to help cover costs.
