Working together with a small team of copywriters, this position interfaces with several departments, collaborating closely with designers, art directors, brand managers, education and R&D.ResponsibilitiesDevelops language and claims for new products, and ensures all copy is accurate, on brand and in compliance with regulatory guidelinesWrites clear, concise copy for a variety of collateral including product brochures, product packaging, in-store signage, and general marketing supportCreates product names, headlines, taglines and supporting copy in accordance with the marketing strategy and brand messageCollaborates and interfaces with internal stakeholders at all levels, including marketing, education and designDaily copyediting and eagle-eye proofreading for clarity, consistency, accuracy and grammarMentor junior copywriter as neededRequirements: QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or the Humanities requiredAt least 5 years of copywriting/copyediting/proofreading experienceA portfolio of work or samples that show a range of copywriting styles and platformsHair care, beauty and/or consumer goods experience preferredCompetencies/SkillsAbility to write smart, compelling, concise copy for a variety of vehicles, and adhering to varying brand voices and tonesCapable of writing in varying styles, from technical writing targeted to professionals to more creative, consumer-driven languageStrong grasp of language and grammar, familiarity with AP Style and the ability to learn in-house style rules quicklyAbility to work independently under tight deadlines while maintaining an upbeat attitudeGreat attention to detail and meticulous follow-throughReceptive and open to feedbackProficiency with MS Office SuiteTeam player with a collaborative spiritJPMS is an equal opportunity employer, committed to creating an inclusive and belonging environments for all employees.Salary Description$ 70000.00 – $ 85000.00PI213402420
