The Regional Director of Staff Development will work with each facility to provide support to nursing staff, specifically the Director of Nursing, help influence organizational change, and ensure the use of best practices. Maintain current knowledge of nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long term care. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, develop, direct, evaluate, and coordinate educational and on-the-job training programs. Incorporate commercially produced instruction material and training aids into existing in-service programs as deemed necessary. Provide leadership in formulating the goals and objectives of the in-service educational programs of the facility. Develop, evaluate and control the quality of in-service educational programs in accordance with established policies and procedures. Secure, develop and maintain records, reports, instructional manuals, reference materials, etc., pertinent to in-service educational programs. Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, class attendance and subject records, etc KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS 1-3 years’ experience providing direct care to multiple patients/residents preferred; previous experience as DSD Nursing degree from accredited college or graduation from approved RN or LVN program required Current unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LVN in California Current, valid CPR certification BENEFITS Medical insurance with Rx benefits Dental insurance Vision care 401k retirement savings plan with employer match after one year of service Paid vacation Salary Range: $130,000.00 – $150,000.00 plus a bonus of up to 10% to be paid in 2024 The salary range is the one that Beecan Health reasonably expects to pay for this position.
