Job Description Our company is looking for a Drafter to develop technical drawings of products using computer-aided design (CAM) software, such as CAM350 and Solidworks. After making a draft, you will submit it for approval and make any necessary revisions. You will also prepare supporting documentation that includes product materials and dimensions before distributing the information to the appropriate external contractors and updating our internal database. Applicants should have a technical background in drafting or construction design and experience with CAM software. CAM Operator Duties and Responsibilities Develop technical drawings using CAM software Make revisions and obtain approval from the client Maintain a database of drawings Prepare supporting documentation that includes product materials and dimensions Distribute drawings to internal departments and external contractors CAM Operator Requirements and Qualifications Technical degree (not required) in drafting or equivalent job experience Experience with CAM software Technical design skills Deadline-oriented mindset Attention to detail Company Description Basic Electronics is a manufacturer of Flex, Rigid/Flex interconnects.
