Telemetry Unit – Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 22 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license in hand at the time of application.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract – no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

Tele RN needing to take care of Tele patients holding in the ER. May need to follow patients and work in the Tele units as needed.

These nurses will initially be scheduled to care for admitted MedSurg/Tele patients holding in the ED but can be floated to care for MS/Tele patients in other hospital units depending on the need.

Patient Diagnoses: Adults and geriatric, MS with Tele, CVAs, CHF, Diabetes, COPD, Pneumonia, Minor Arrhythmias, 4 vent rooms with stable vents.

HARDSTOP – care of ventilated patients and managing/ titrating drips.

Weekend REQ: Every other. No on call.

BLS ACLS must be AHA

Anything more than 7 Days will potentially delay your offer while we run approval by the client. To minimize turn around please limit total RTO requests.

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)

LA fire card within the last 30 days is required.

ALL travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state. travelers’ refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
