Head of Amazon

Director of Amazon Location: Santa Monica, CA (Hybrid) We’re on the hunt for a talented Director of Amazon to join our client, a hyper-growth and innovative women’s health and wellness brand. Reporting director to their Head of Strategy, the Director of Amazon will own their Amazon P&L and lead growth strategy as well as execution on the platform. We’re seeking an analytical and strategic expert driving rapid and profitable growth for DTC brands on Amazon. Responsibilities Define strategy for ongoing rapid and profitable growth in their Amazon Marketplace sales channel Own the Amazon P&L and deliver significant sustained profitable growth for existing and new products Lead the internal Amazon team and manage the day-to-day relationship with their Amazon agency Manage all aspects of the Amazon channel including forecasting and reporting, listing / keyword / creative / store optimization, campaign / keyword analysis, inventory planning, brand registry, reviews, performance metrics, agency performance, CX, etc. Deliver high quality on-time launches of new products on the Amazon channel Conduct high quality analysis to develop accurate forecasts, identify issue root causes, identify performance growth opportunities Develop plans for key sales periods including Prime Day Help oversee and coordinate FBA inventory planning and shipments working in collaboration with the Operations team Monitor account health, performance, and resolve issues that may arise including order fulfillment and customer service Keep up to date with seller best practices, tools, technologies, and proactively generate ideas on how to improve performance Qualifications 5 years of experience managing the Amazon sales channel 3-5 years of experience in vitamins & supplements / CPG / similar categories in marketplaces / e-commerce Knowledge of best practices for scaling and optimizing an Amazon business including strategy, forecasting, listing / keyword / creative optimization, testing, research, testing, and agency management Strong analytical skills in excel or similar tools Excellent business intuition and ability to understand / solve complex problems Excellent team and project management skills Excitement for startups and building an early-stage company Anticipated Base Salary: $125,000 – $150,000
