Senior MMIS Techno-Functional SME – Health Technology

Are you a Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) subject matter expert with technical/functional Medicaid and/or healthcare experience? Do you want to help our clients create a new future for Medicaid technology as we transform the Medicaid market and embrace modularization?

Work you’ll do

Lead the reporting operations of a State Medicaid program across the various MITA business processes (including member, provider, claims, and care management)
Manage all or significant portions of an MES/MMIS business operations environment
Manage day-to-day interactions with clients, other vendor teams, and executive sponsors
Use knowledge of healthcare industry standards and integration workflows within MMIS to architect, define data management and governance, and configure COTS products

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
8+ years of experience in the business or technical operations of a State Medicaid program across various MITA business processes (including member, provider, claims, and care management)
Experience implementing a MMIS or Medicaid DW for a State Medicaid Agency
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $98,000 to $120,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

We advise on, design, implement, and deploy solutions that are focused on government health agencies “heart of the business” issues including claims management, electronic health records, health information exchanges, health analytics, and health case management.

Our clients seek a fresh perspective on how to leverage reusable, interoperable, and flexible solutions that will enable them to reduce costs, improve health outcomes, ad respond to public health crises. Professionals will use their deep health, government, and technology consulting experience to strategically help solve our client’s technology challenges.
